| Prayer has been described as the slender nerve that moves the muscles of omnipotence. At the high price of His own Son God gave us this special privilege. Through prayer we find the power to face life's uncertainties and overcome Satan's assaults against our faith. We invite anyone to join us for First Sunday Prayer, a special time of prayer on the first Sunday evening of each month. We meet in the auditorium at 6:00 P.M. and offer our prayers of praise, gratitude and petition to the heavenly Father. At New Hope we have an ever-growing Prayer List that gives us the opportunity to lift up special needs of our friends, families and neighbors. These Prayer Lists are available at the Welcome Center. On this page of our website we will keep you up to date on special or urgent prayer requests.
